PRODUCTION HISTORY: The Gift Exchange was first staged in July 2015 by the City Theatre of Independence in Independence, MO. In September 2015, it appeared at the London Public Library in London, Ontario. In February 2017, it was staged at a conference for lawyers, by Working Title Playwrights in Atlanta, Georgia. 

The Gift Exchange appeared in Reunited Shorts at the London Fringe Festival, London, ON (May 28-Jun 9/19). Joe Belanger of the London Free Press said, "Len Cuthbert’s scripts for each of the six vignettes are taut and clever, especially The Gift Exchange."
